Farm Gate to Dinner Plate -

APAS puts cash into farmers' hands.

Connecting the farm gate to your dinner plate

From 5-10 pm on Wednesday, APAS delegates, speakers and guests gathered under a clear blue sky  at the Saskatoon Farmers Market as we connected the farm gate to our dinner plates.

Every guest in attendance was invited to help put hundreds of dollars directly in Saskatchewan farmers’ hands by sampling and enjoying a variety of food items prepared and served by Saskatchewan producers. As a special added attraction, we also arranged for unique entertainment for the evening, including local musicians and a special performance by the Saskatoon Soaps.

APAS is Saskatchewan’s general farm organization formed to provide farmers and ranchers with a democratically elected, grassroots, non-partisan, producer organization based on rural municipal boundaries. As the united voice of thousands of agricultural producers in Saskatchewan, we strive to represent the views of a wide variety of agricultural stakeholders in order to form comprehensive policies that can benefit all sectors of society.
